Our founder, Robert Mitchell, brings over 40 years of corporate leadership and hands-on property experience across the UK, Sydney, and the Gold Coast. Having renovated, bought, and sold multiple homes—and experienced the frustration of dealing with agents lacking experience and accountability—Robert built NO BS Real Estate to change the way people experience property transactions.

About Robert Mitchell
With over 40 years in corporate leadership, Robert Mitchell brings a depth of experience, discipline, and people-first thinking that’s rare in today’s real estate landscape. Born in the UK and now proudly calling Australia home, Robert has personally bought, sold, and renovated multiple properties, giving him firsthand insight into what sellers truly experience — both the highs and the frustrations.
Married to his wife for 17 years and a proud father of two boys, Robert is also a qualified Rugby Union referee, a role that reflects his strong sense of fairness, integrity, and respect for the rules. Known for his love of conversation (he can quite literally talk the leg off a chair), Robert’s greatest passion has always been connecting with people.
After years of watching sellers be underserved by inflated fees, poor communication, and outdated practices, Robert became increasingly disillusioned with the traditional real estate model. That frustration became the catalyst to realign his own values — and ultimately led to the founding of NO BS Real Estate: a business built on honesty, experience, transparency, and doing right by people.
